Another year is coming to an end and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our supporters, collectors and friends and wish you all a very happy festive season and a healthy, peaceful and prosperous New Year.
Our vision to promote Australian contemporary art in various international platforms, engage in cultural dialogues and welcome international artists to Melbourne has always been our focus.
This year we saw Jesse Marlow winning the International Street Photography Award (London), Sam Grigorian’s works auctioned at Christie’s (London), Italian Sculptor Piero Gensini awarded the E. and M. Casini Foundation Lifetime Artistic Prize in Florence, Paolo Consorti exhibited at the 54th Venice Biennale, Jayne Dyer selected for Art HK11 Public Projects, Cyrus Tang a finalist in the Gyeonggi International CeraMIX Biennale 2011 International Competition, Grant Nimmo’s artwork commission by American snowboard company, Arbor Snowboards Inc. and many other international success stories.
This vision will continue with greater passion, greater enthusiasm and will involve greater risks. During 2012 we will participate in three international art fairs, local and international artists’ representation will be increased, mentoring and support to emerging artists will be a primary focus as well as thirteen programmed exhibitions including David Palliser, Jesse Marlow, Billy Gruner & Sarah Keighery, Paul Yore, Bonnie Lane, Vin Ryan, Elisabeth Weissensteiner, Simon MacEwan, Kent Wilson, Brad Haylock, Lucy James and others.
