Just before The Olsen, off Chapel Street is a street that’s often overlooked. From the outside, it may not look like much. But once you’ve finally checked it out, you’ll kick yourself for not doing so sooner! If you’re not yet convinced, here’s our pick on what to do and where to go on Daly Street!

Looking for a dinner spot that’s both healthy and delicious? Add SMAK straight to the top of your list! Founded by two guys who set out to create a restaurant that felt good, and made food that was good for you and also hella tasty. Let’s just say that they succeeded and then some! So next time you’re feeling a little peckish, but still want to maintain that summer bod – stop by and do some good eating.

The bar & restaurant below the Olsen is an absolute gem! Parked on the corner of Chapel and Daly Streets, Spoonbill is the perfect spot to catch up with friends, or take the lover for date night. The menu changes with the seasons so there’s always something new on offer, but our favourite thing about Spoonbill is the people watching from the street site tables. Grab yourself a glass of wine and watch Chapel Street roll by. Perfection.

The other half to Zumbo Patisserie is Zumbo Cafe, with the entrance on Daly Street! It’s the home of neon lights, sugar delights and a nice sit down cuppa. Plus, the crew there who peddle the sweet baked goods are a god damned pleasure. We’d just pop in for a chat if we could, but let’s be honest, we wouldn’t be able to resist a taste of something sweet!
