Summer is on it’s way, and what’s better about summer than brunch & coffee in the warm sweet air? Oh, we know! Brunch, coffee & pupper pals in the warm sweet air.

It’s well known gossip that Chapel Street is the perfect doggo playground – almost every retailer on the street welcomes furry friends inside their doors (given that they’re well behaved and the retail staff are allowed pats, of course!)

Here’s a little list of a few places that you, and your furry buddy, will absolutely love!

The coffee is strong, the brunch delicious & they’re licensed to boot! #boozybreakfast But even more than that, pooches are always welcomed to join their latte sippin’, doggy parents company in their covered courtyard seating area.

154 Greville St, Prahran

Huddled in a quiet spot behind Chapel 360 in South Yarra, Stepping Stone has well and truly made its mark as the premier destination for the cutest, most fluffiest and Instagram famous doggies in Melbourne. There’s a multi tiered astroturf covered courtyard that’s fully fenced, umbrellas to shelter from the sun, and not only is their food 100 per cent yum, it’s super photogenic too!

68 River St, South Yarra

Alison, of Alison’s Handmade Bread, & her toy poodle Teddy Bear are friends with all of the doggos in Prahran! All pupper visitors get the VIP treatment, including pats, water and service straight from the front door! Right next door to Grattan Gardens, stop in to Alison’s for all of your picnic needs (pastries, coffee, juices and the best chicken rolls in Melbourne). Then stroll over to the gardens for lunch in the sun!

180 Commercial Rd, Prahran (entrance on Izett Street)

You may have passed this hole in the wall coffee stop while walking your furry friends in Windsor. You’ve probably even passed it a few times without taking a second look. Next time, you should slow as you pass, even if it’s just long enough for one of the sweet treats in the window to catch your eye! If you like what you see, pull up a chair, hitch your four legged buddy & enjoy a raw snickers bar with your strong flat white. It’s the perfect Windsor pit stop.

138 Chapel St, Windsor

If you’re the type of puppy dog owner that prefers grilled cheese over smashed avo, The Gramercy is for you! With a menu of sliders, fried chicken and chunky, crunchy salads – it’ll be right up your alley. But don’t go leaving your buddy behind! Your furry canine friend is more than welcome at the Gramercy Social. Take em’ with you and enjoy your meal in the sheltered courtyard, then take doggo for a well deserved stroll down Chapel Street.

162-164 Commercial Rd, Prahran
