Chapel Street has launched a VIP Chopper service that will ferry racegoers in 5 minutes-flat between Flemington and Melbourne’s reigning precinct for bubbles, bites and fashion. Return seats on the Chapel Street Chopper will cost $800 per person, or can be won right here on the Chapel Street website or liking the Facebook page.

“The Chapel Street Chopper service has been introduced to satisfy a real demand,” said Chrissie Maus, of Chapel Street Precinct Association. “Our precinct’s customers want to arrive in style looking immaculate, and they want to leave looking just as glamorous. Battling public transport, queuing forever, and dealing with unruly people can be an absolute nightmare – but it doesn’t have to be that way. Melbourne’s Spring Racing Carnival is supposed to be one of the best times of the year, you shouldn’t look like you’ve been to hell and back come 6pm!

“On Race Day, you can take care of any last minute fashion or beauty requirements on Chapel Street, and within five minutes you’ll be trackside at Flemington. And then when it’s time to leave, you’ll make a beeline for Chapel Street’s many after parties. Your feet will scream a sigh of relief as you fly over the gridlock of limos, taxis and buses.

If you find the $800 price tag more painful than an ill-fitting shoe, there are ways of flying for free in the Chapel Street VIP Chopper. Simply ‘like’ @chapelstreetprecinct on Facebook, or head to to WIN your VIP seat!
