Trams

Getting to the Chapel Street precinct is easy with Yarra Trams.
Trams operate from 5.30am to 12 midnight and with extended services available on Friday and Saturday nights, you can stay even longer.  Visit metlinkmelbourne.com.au for timetable information. 

Buy a Metcard before you get onboard one of these trams:

    •    To Commercial Road and Chapel Street – Route 72 to Camberwell
    •        To High Street and Chapel Street – Route 6 to Glen Iris
    •        To Toorak Road and Chapel Street – Route 8 to Toorak
    •        To Dandenong Road and Chapel Street – Routes 5 or 64 to Malvern or East Brighton
    •        To travel along the length of Chapel Street - Route 78/79 Nth Richmond to Prahran/St Kilda

Trains

Trains to the Chapel Street area frequently leave the city from Flinders Street station or from stations on the City Loop (i.e. Parliament, Melbourne Central, Flagstaff and  Southern Cross Stations) from 4.30 a.m. to 12.00 midnight.

A great way to visit the area is to go to the Prahran Station on the Sandringham Line and view Greville Street on your way to Chapel Street. Windsor Station and South Yarra Station are also on the Sandringham Lineand offer easy access to the Chapel Street area.

You can also get to the South Yarra Station (which is a short stroll down Toorak Road to Chapel Street) on the Frankston, Pakenham, Cranbourne or Dandenong train lines.

By Car

One hour free street car parking is available through out the Chapel St Precinct. Parking restrictions are enforced, so please check street signs carefully.
